Xbox Game Pass has given us a 2022 full of attractive games and there are still surprises on the way, since Xbox has not yet confirmed the list of titles with which the year will close.

However, we do know that the service will start 2023 with a bang, offering some truly great games in January. As of this writing, at least 5 titles have already been confirmed for next month.

This is great news especially for fans of JRPGs and strategy games, as renowned franchises will increase their presence on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass Already Confirmed 5 Great Titles for January

JRPG fans who are fans of ATLUS have several reasons to be excited for 2023. The studio has finally decided to bring Persona to Microsoft consoles and it’ll be right in January when 2 more installments of the saga will hit Xbox Game Pass.

The Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden games will be available on the service starting January 19. Capcom is also preparing an important release. It’ll be a day later when the action-packed Monster Hunter Rise hits Xbox Game Pass.

There is also something for RTS fans playing on consoles, since Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition can be enjoyed with a subscription from January 31. Lastly, there is a surprise for gamers who prefer first-person shooters.

Roboquest is a FPS with roguelite elements that will offer dynamic gameplay in procedurally generated worlds. RyseUp Studios will release its title on Microsoft’s service on a January day yet to be confirmed.

This is of course a preliminary list and there are many more games to come at the beginning of the year, but we’ll have to wait to find out about them.

Games confirmed for January 2023
