Hi-Fi Rush Amongst the Best-Rated Games of Recent Months

Hi-Fi Rush was a stealth project from the renowned game studio Tango Gameworks, which was released without any extensive marketing campaigns or promotional materials. Despite the lack of promotion, the game was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews from both audiences and journalists. In fact, Hi-Fi Rush is considered one of the highest-rated productions of the past year.

While there were several other well-received games that were released last year, such as Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarok, Chained Echoes, and more, these titles had larger or smaller advertising campaigns prior to their release.

Hi-Fi Rush was a surprise release from Microsoft and Bethesda, and while it was not previously announced, the Xbox manufacturer has not expressed any disappointment with the lack of interest. The game boasts a high average rating of 89% from both reviewers and players, with 98% of the 3,654 reviews on Steam being labeled as “overwhelmingly positive.”

Tango Gameworks’ production was highly praised by critics, with the game receiving a maximum score of 10/10 and the lowest score currently being 8/10. In many of the reviews, Hi-Fi Rush is mentioned as a candidate for the Game of the Year award.

Critics were impressed by the game’s stunning setting, top-notch voice acting, diverse and interesting characters, climatic music, and excellent combat system.

The animations in the game are described as “polished to perfection” and the boss designs and duels with powerful opponents received high praise. The game’s extensive combat system is praised for its many combinations and special moves.

However, some reviewers were less convinced by the game’s predictable story and longer playtime to fully reveal its charm. Some stages were also criticized for being a bit too long, as well as the not entirely enjoyable platforming elements.
