Sony has published a list of games coming to PlayStation Plus, Extra and Premium subscriptions in January 2023. Japanese company has prepared 12 games for this month, including, but not limited to, something for fans of Son Goku, engaging stories and dynamic demon chopping.
New games in PlayStation Plus Essential
Here’s a list of titles that are being added to the basic version of the PS Plus subscription this month.
- Axiom Verge 2 (PS4, PS5)
- Fallout 76 (PS4)
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS4, PS5)
If you are a Star Wars fan and haven’t had a chance to play Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order yet, it is high time to catch up. The game received positive reviews, with an average of 79% on Metacritic.
Fallout 76, a network game set in the popular post-apocalyptic universe, is also well worth picking up. While Bethesda’s production faced a number of problems, it today bears little resemblance to itself at the time of its release.

Of special note here is the brawler Dragon Ball FighterZ, which is regarded as one of the best productions licensed from the popular manga and anime. Fast action lovers should also not pass by Devil May Cray 5, offering plenty of fun chopping up monsters.
The Life is Strange and the game’s prequel, Before the Storm, may interest those who appreciate, first and foremost, engaging stories full of emotion.

Retro game fans from the days of the first PlayStation can try out three new productions from Sony’s oldest console available this month as part of the most expensive PS Plus Premium subscription.
- Hot Shots Golf 2 (PSOne)
- Star Wars Demolition (PSOne)
- Syphon Filter 3 (PSOne)
Syphon Filter 3, which is a third-person shooter with stealth elements that at one time was a solid alternative to Metal Gear Solid, appears to be the most interesting of these items.
