There is still some time left until the release of Hogwarts Legacy as the game will be released on February 10, 2023, but this game is already enjoying huge interest on Steam.
It’s all thanks to preorder sales. On Steam, in the basic version, this title costs 59,99€ in pre-orders. However, its only bonus is the Onyx Hippogriff (mount skin).
People who have already bought, or who will buy the Deluxe Edition, will receive an additional 72-hour early access to Hogwarts Legacy, allowing them to start playing the game as early as February 7, 2023 (this option also exists for the Deluxe editions on PS5 and XSX/XSS).
Probably it is this bonus that the work prepared by Avalanche Software overtakes in the most recent ranking on Steam even FIFA 23, Cyberpunk 2077 or Red Dead Redemption 2.
The publisher Hogwarts Legacy already announced that the game has reached gold status for the PS5, XSX/XSS and PC versions.
There’s nothing more to threaten the set release date (February 10, 2023). PS4/XOne (April 4, 2023) and Switch (July 25, 2023) owners will have to wait a little longer for the title.
The biggest bestseller in the software category remained Steam’s hit Elden Ring, which has held the top spot in game sales for several weeks now.
Cyberpunk 2077 also kept its place, with the CDP RED game holding on to fifth place after winning the award at the Steam Awards 2022 in the “Fruit of Love” award category, for best post-release support (according to fans) in 2022, through various updates.
