As much as we look forward to new games being added to Xbox and PC Game Pass, it’s always disappointing to hear about games being removed.
Unfortunately, the cyclicality of such services means that for every batch of new games, a few have to leave. This time around, seven games are set to be removed from the catalog by the end of March.
The latest update of the Xbox App for Windows 10/11 PC and mobile devices reveals the list of games that will be taken down.
The news may come as a surprise to some gamers who have invested time and effort into these titles, but it’s essential to remember that the removal is part of the service’s nature.
- Double Dragon Neon (Cloud and Console)
- ClusterTruck (Cloud, PC and Console)
- MLB The Show 22 (Cloud, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S)
- Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid (Cloud, PC and Console)
- Kraken Academy!! (Cloud, PC and Console)
- A Memoir Blue (Cloud, PC and Console)
- Chinatown Detective Agency (Cloud, PC and Console)
If you’re a fan of any of the above mentioned games, make sure to download them before March 31, 2023. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the 20% discount offered to Game Pass subscribers and purchase the games you want to keep permanently.
This way, you can continue to enjoy them even after they’ve been removed from the Game Pass catalog. It’s always a bit of a downer to say goodbye to some beloved games, but fear not. Xbox and PC Game Pass always have exciting new titles in store for their subscribers.
In fact, March’s second wave of games is set to be announced on Tuesday, March 21st, which coincides with the arrival of the last title from the first wave of the month, Ni no Kuni 2: The Destiny of a Kingdom. So keep an eye out for that announcement and get ready for some new games to explore.
