Social media platforms often serve as an excellent stage for independent developers and low-budget projects to showcase their work. Occasionally, we stumble upon intriguing video games that lack the recognition they deserve, such as Scarlet Deer Inn.
This game, developed by Attu Games, may not be familiar to many, but it deserves attention for its unique animation style crafted with cloth embroidery. The process behind this innovative approach to animation recently went viral on Twitter.

The video showcasing the intricate process behind the character movements, which mimic traditional animation techniques, quickly gained widespread attention. Furthermore, the game’s artistic style is reminiscent of the delicate visuals seen in Studio Ghibli’s renowned films.
As interest in this distinctive game grows, many are eager to follow its progress. Scarlet Deer Inn can be found on Steam, though it has yet to receive a release date.
Developed by a married couple from the Czech Republic, Attu Games takes pride in using traditional methods, even incorporating music created with traditional instruments.
The developers openly acknowledge their inspiration from Studio Ghibli, medieval Europe, and Slavic folklore in the game’s description on the Steam platform.
