The excitement for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is reaching a peak as its release date draws near. But the good news doesn’t stop there! Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies have revealed their ambitious plans to expand the TMNT universe with both a sequel film and an animated series for Paramount+ that will seamlessly connect the two films.

Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series

As per Variety’s report, the upcoming Paramount+ series will be titled “Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and is set to span two seasons.

Fans can expect 2D animation to bring their beloved characters to life, though the release date for the series is yet to be disclosed. Notably, Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon will reprise their roles as the Ninja Turtles, ensuring continuity and authenticity in the animated world.

Powerhouse Creators behind the Series

The production of “Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series has enlisted top-notch talent. Point Grey Pictures, the studio responsible for acclaimed films and shows, will be producing the Paramount+ series.

The series will be led by Chris Yost, known for his work on The Mandalorian and Thor: Ragnarok, and Alan Wan, who has previously contributed to projects like Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, as executive producers and showrunners. With such experienced and creative minds at the helm, fans can expect an exceptional TMNT experience.

In addition to the animated series, a thrilling sequel film is also in the works. Point Grey Pictures will be spearheading its production, and Jeff Rowe, the talented director and co-writer of the upcoming TMNT film, will be directing the sequel. With the team’s dedication to storytelling and action, TMNT fans can anticipate an unforgettable cinematic adventure that will build upon the excitement of the first film.
