In a surprising casting move, reports indicate that Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey is in early negotiations to join the cast of the upcoming Jurassic World 4 film. Additionally, acclaimed actress Scarlett Johansson is also said to be in talks for a leading role in the highly anticipated sequel.

According to Deadline, the new Jurassic World installment is set to be directed by Rogue One’s Gareth Edwards, marking a significant creative change from the previous two Jurassic World movies, which were helmed by Colin Trevorrow.

The film, which is expected to hit theaters on July 2, 2025, will feature a completely new cast, moving away from the Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard-led duo that have anchored the recent Jurassic World trilogy.

While details about the plot and characters remain tightly under wraps, the inclusion of Bailey and Johansson suggests that Universal and Amblin Entertainment, the production companies behind the franchise, are aiming to infuse the new Jurassic World installment with a fresh, high-profile ensemble.

Bailey, who has garnered critical acclaim for his role in the Showtime series Fellow Travelers, is said to be in early discussions to take on a lead part in the upcoming film. The Bridgerton star’s potential involvement in the project further solidifies his status as a rising talent in the entertainment industry.

Alongside Bailey, reports also indicate that Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson is also in talks to join the Jurassic World 4 cast, potentially taking over the lead role from the previous Jurassic World duo.

The new Jurassic World movie will be written by David Koepp, who penned the original Jurassic Park and its sequel, The Lost World. Steven Spielberg, the architect of the Jurassic franchise, is set to serve as a producer on the project.

While official confirmation of the cast and plot details are still pending, the inclusion of Bailey and Johansson, coupled with the involvement of acclaimed director Gareth Edwards, has undoubtedly piqued the interest of Jurassic fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the beloved dinosaur saga.
