The League of Legends community is abuzz with discussions surrounding Riot Games’ newly announced bundles honoring legendary player Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, with prices ranging up to a staggering $450. The extravagant offerings have sparked a polarizing debate among fans.
As part of Faker’s induction into the game’s Hall of Legends, Riot has unveiled a series of Ahri skin Collections themed around the iconic mid-laner. The most basic “Risen Legend Collection” comes in at $40, including the Hall of Legends Pass, a taunt, an icon, an emote, a banner, and the new Risen Legend Ahri skin.
However, it’s the top-tier “Signature Immortalized Legend Collection” that has left many players stunned. Priced at an eye-watering $450, this bundle includes the Immortalized Ahri skin with unique transformations, finishers, an exclusive title, signature emotes, 100 pass levels, and various other cosmetic items.

While Riot states these high-end bundles are “meant to be highly commemorative, with never-before-implemented features,” many fans have questioned the extreme pricing. One Reddit user commented, “I looked at the 2 whales packages and pretty much expected like a physical Ahri statue to be included in them, but they were just a couple of finishers and signature emotes. Absolute bonkers.”
In an FAQ, Riot defended the pricing, stating, “For the more casual fan, we have some of our most generous bundles to date. For those looking to flex their fandom, the Immortalized Legend Collection and Signature Immortalized Legend Collection include spectacular additions, headlined by the evolving Immortalized Legend Ahri skin.”
Reminder that Faker doesn't use skins and Riot just made the Faker Ahri skin cost $500

The divisive bundles are part of the League of Legends Hall of Legends event, running from June 12 to July 8, celebrating Faker’s legacy as the first inductee. Riot plans to hold similar events annually to honor other star players in the community.
As the debate rages on, one thing is clear: Faker’s impact on League of Legends is undeniable, and for die-hard fans willing to splurge, these exclusive bundles offer a chance to immortalize their admiration for the eSports legend.
