In an exciting development for fans of both LEGO and The Legend of Zelda series, the renowned toy company has officially unveiled its latest set in collaboration with Nintendo – the highly-detailed “The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1” set.
This intricate 2,500-piece set allows builders to recreate one of the most iconic locations from the beloved Zelda franchise – the ancient and colossal Great Deku Tree. What makes this set truly special is the ability to construct the Great Deku Tree in two different variants – the first based on its appearance in the classic Nintendo 64 title Ocarina of Time, and the second depicting its rendition from the critically-acclaimed Breath of the Wild.
Eiji Aonuma, the longtime producer of The Legend of Zelda series, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that the Great Deku Tree “was the first element from The Legend of Zelda we wanted to represent using LEGO bricks.”
The set not only faithfully recreates the towering tree itself but also includes a plethora of iconic details and interactive features that are sure to delight Zelda fans. The Ocarina of Time version boasts a mechanism that opens the tree’s mouth to reveal a menacing Skulltula, while the Breath of the Wild variant can perform unique animated facial expressions.

In addition to the tree itself, the set comes with four exclusive LEGO minifigures: Link and Princess Zelda from Ocarina of Time, as well as Link and his younger self from Breath of the Wild. Builders can also look forward to constructing other beloved characters and elements, such as Hestu the Korok, Deku Babas, Navi the Fairy, and smaller Koroks.
Wes Talbott, a LEGO designer who worked closely with Nintendo on the set, expressed his joy at bringing this iconic Zelda location to life in LEGO form, stating, “As a fan of the franchise, it was great to work on this set and fill it with details and references from the games.”
