Ghosts Season 4 Set to Shake Up Series with New Developments

Hit CBS Comedy Set to Explore New Territories Both Inside and Outside Woodstone Mansion

The CBS sitcom “Ghosts” is gearing up for its fourth season this fall, and fans are in for some big changes at Woodstone Mansion. At Comic-Con this summer, the cast and creators spilled some juicy plot details that have me really excited for what’s to come.

It sounds like season four is gonna turn things upside down for Jay. Until now, he’s been the only one who couldn’t see or talk to the ghosties living under his roof. But get this – the actors said Jay will finally be able to see them! I can’t wait to see how that switches things up. Utkarsh Ambudkar, the dude who plays Jay, joked that now he’ll “get to chat with coworkers.” Things are about to get a lot more interesting for sure.

They’re also adding some new faces to the crowd this year. Mary Holland is joining as Patience, described as a crazy old Puritan ghost. Sounds like she’ll cause plenty of spooky trouble. And some famous visitors will be dropping by, like Jay’s family and Dean Norris as Sam’s dad from Breaking Bad. I’m dying to meet Jay’s relatives!

One big reveal last season was finding out how Hetty kicked the bucket. The lady who plays her, Rebecca Wisocky, thinks Hetty learned an important lesson about empathy that’ll change how she interacts with the others. Expect some personal growth from ghost girl.

Plus, Pete – the lovable doofus played by Richie Moriarty – can now leave the house. Richie teased that giving Pete new experiences will transform his character. Personally, I’m hoping he tracks down the girl who accidentally offed him. That meeting could get real interesting, and maybe help Pete find some peace.

Season four is shaping up to be the ghosts’ most exciting adventures yet. With Jay joining the conversational crew, new faces shaking things up, and Pete wandering further afield, I can’t wait to see what these spirits get up to when “Ghosts” returns this October!
