If you play Call of Duty, get hyped – Activision just announced the craziest collab for Season 5 starting July 24th. That’s right, the mega popular franchise is teaming up with WWE!
An epic teaser trailer confirming the news has the gaming community buzzing. It puts rumors of a Deadpool crossover to rest while hinting at what’s to come like new operator skins of pro wrestlers.

We don’t have all the deets yet, but it looks like three shadowy figures in the trailer will be based on wrestling stars. Characters might be unlockable through the Battle Pass or purchasable in the store.
Even TNA wrestler Chris Bey is involved, posting that he helped with DLC content finally coming to the game. So it seems the partnership will go beyond just WWE too.

Last season had a cool Gundam collab, so this follows that trend of cross-company cameos. Data miners thought Deadpool was happening, but the official announcement set the record straight.
As the July 24th launch approaches, I can’t wait to learn if we’ll pull off Stone Cold stunners or People’s Elbows in multiplayer! One thing’s for sure – the virtual ring is about to get extra hype with WWE mashing up with COD.
