Pokémon GO players are in for a cool treat – the mythical Pokémon Marshadow is making its debut through a new Special Research quest! As part of the GO Fest Global 2024 event, the “A Shadowy Caper” quest will be available to ticket holders starting July 13th for $14.99.
While Marshadow will eventually come to all trainers, this gives dedicated fans early access. The six-part quest offers the chance to catch Marshadow along with other rare Pokémon and awesome rewards.
Tasks include things like catching different species, getting buddy candies, hatching eggs, evolving Pokémon, and battling Ghost and Fighting types to encounter Marshadow. Rewards include region-exclusive Pokémon like Corsola and Maractus plus items like Incubators and Star Pieces.
Trainers who already caught Marshadow at past in-person GO Fests will now receive 25 Marshadow Candy instead of another encounter. Best of all, you can complete the quest at your own pace with no deadline. Just make sure to log in between 10am-6pm on July 13th to start!
With its mix of challenges and prizes, this Special Research offers something for every kind of player. It’s a great way to introduce Marshadow while providing an exciting event during GO Fest Global 2024.
