Edebiri, walking the red carpet, came upon McEntire and her former costar Melissa Peterman, who were presenting an award that evening.
Edebiri was visibly thrilled by the encounter. “Oh my God, my legs are shaking,” she admitted, struggling to contain her excitement. Despite her nervousness, she expressed admiration for both McEntire and Peterman. Edebiri told them she had spent many hours watching their sitcom “Reba,” highlighting the show’s impact on younger viewers.

This marked Edebiri’s second consecutive Emmy nomination for “The Bear,” entering the Lead Actress category. McEntire and Peterman were presenting an award for scripted variety shows. The former costars are set to reunite on the upcoming NBC sitcom “Happy’s Place.”
