AMC officials last week announced the exact date for the premiere of an episodic anthology series called Tales of the Walking Dead, which is part of the same universe as The Walking Dead series.
And it doesn’t stop there as the first official trailer for the upcoming production was unveiled during San Diego Comic Con. Feel free to watch it below!
This anthology will consist of six episodes, with each episode lasting about an hour. Series producer Michael Satrazemis is in charge of directing half of the episodes, with Haifaa al-Mansour, Deborah Kampmeier and Ron Underwood behind the camera for the other three.
The series stars Olivia Munn, Samantha Morton, Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Anthony Edwards, Poppy Liu, Jillian Bell, Loan Chabanol, Embeth Davidtz, Jessie T. Usher, Daniella Pineda and Danny Ramierez. The new series from the world of The Walking Dead will make its debut on August 14, 2022.
