Very soon, on August 30 this year, the second season of Battlefield 2042 will be launched in the game under the title of Masters of Arms. With this, the game will feature, among other things, a completely new map and yet another specialist.
DICE studio officials have shared two trailers for the update, which you can watch below. Besides, of course, we have learned details about the new season.
As mentioned, the game will introduce a new map called Abandoned (Stranded). It will move us to Panama, to a dried-up lake in the desert. We will battle other players around and inside a stranded container ship, which contains a point of illegal arms trade.
The other very important new feature is, of course, a new specialist named Charlie Crawford. He’s a charismatic former arms dealer and at the same time a support soldier with a deployable minigun (Vulcan cannon).

New weapons and vehicles in Battlefield 2042
- AM40 – a kind of compromise between an assault rifle and a submachine gun;
- Avancys – a modern and portable machine gun (LMG);
- Pf51 – a weapon intended for clashes with large groups of enemies;
- Polaris PZR – a vehicle that looks like a buggy in appearance;
- EBLC-RAM – a heavy vehicle.
Let’s remind at the very end that Battlefield 2042 made its debut on November 19, 2021 on PC and PlayStation 4/5, Xbox XONE and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
