If you are playing MultiVersus and wondering when the developers will introduce guilds and a store to the game, you’d better arm yourself with a lot of patience. Game director doesn’t have good news.
Tony Huynh has revealed that a guild system and a workable store are being prepared by the developers, but for the time being there is no specific date for their introduction.
The developer announced, though, that the network brawler will soon receive one of the biggest updates in its (short) history.
Hi, the team is working to get Guilds and the Store, but it will still be a little bit out. Our main focus is still core systems, stability, and bug fixes. The patch next week will be one of our biggest ones yet, which adds a lot of cool things. We're getting closer everyday.

At the moment we don’t know any details of the upcoming update. It is possible that the patch will introduce new content in the form of heroes or maps, but it might as well focus on changes to systems and mechanics already present in the game.
Warner Bros. might be preparing an unusual surprise for meme lovers. The trademark, uncovered by gamers, hints that a character known from online remakes will come to MultiVersus.
