World of Warcraft Is To Get a Mobile Game Like Diablo Immortal

The World of Warcraft may get a new mobile game, just like Diablo Immortal. And most likely it's not about the canceled World of Warcraft Mobile.

Blizzard is not resting on its laurels. While it may seem strange, however, Diablo Immortal turned out to be a huge success. A mobile game set in the world from the legendary brand earned a lot and attracted many players in front of phone and computer screens. And there is no reason to be surprised by that.

News recently came out that the developers, along with NetEase, were working on World of Warcraft Mobile for a long time. Yes, that’s right, a mobile MMO. While the idea could probably result in millions more dollars to the company’s treasury, none of this will come to fruition.

Two companies allegedly failed to reach an agreement, and so the project was canceled or at least put on hold.

Recent suggestions sound as if Blizzard wants to do something mobile with the Warcraft brand after all. However, we do not know whether it is about the rumored delayed MMO or, for instance, strategy.

Rumors of a new game came from the latest job offer. This is because the developers are looking for a Product Management Director for an “unannounced Warcraft Mobile game.”

The Director would keep an eye on balancing players’ needs with the company’s goals. He or she would most likely take care of micropayments, the game’s economy and many other similar aspects.

Unfortunately, the offer itself doesn’t contain any information that would clearly indicate a specific genre. Except that this type of offer is a pretty clear confirmation that “something is being prepared.”
