New Leaked Details of the Free the Division Heartland

Are we getting closer to the launch of the game?

The Division Heartland

The free-to-play battle royale The Division Heartland, which was announced last year, has remained very much a mystery.

The game’s official website briefly went live yesterday, probably by mistake. Nevertheless, it was quickly taken down. But a Twitter user nicknamed Unknown1Z1 was able to record and share the site’s contents.

From the posted information we find out some interesting things about Ubisoft’s production. Most importantly, previous leaks about Storm Mode are confirmed and it is supposed to be a PvPvE mode, where players will face an aggressive faction of Vultures, while battling to survive the infection of a deadly virus.

There is also mention of dedicated PvE missions called Excursion Operations, in which gamers will “prepare the battlefield.” It is unclear what this would involve, but it is probably safe to assume that it is all about collecting better equipment for the main Storm mode.

The Division Heartland website was briefly online, but it seems that a full unveiling of the title is just around the corner, and preparation is in full swing.

The appearance of PvE elements in the game could also suggest that The Division 3 is much further along in Ubisoft’s release plan than fans would like.
