“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” has come to an end eventually. Each week, fans of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe awaited a new episode to see in which direction the Jennifer Walters’ adventures would be led.
From the beginning, the series was promised to be something very much based on humor, but the ratings that followed the first episodes definitely did not bode optimistically for the future.
And unfortunately, this opinion was largely sustained for the remainder of the season. As mentioned at the beginning, the series has now come to an end, with all episodes now available, and viewers as a whole are unlikely to be satisfied.
Although in terms of critics’ reviews it’s pretty good, in the context of audience reception we can now speak – based on Rotten Tomatoes – of only 35% positive reviews. Crazy is not, as the classic used to say.
Things don’t look much better on Metacritic – with over 520 ratings from ordinary fans, the result is currently only 3.2/10. This is definitely not a level that will please the creators, and the label itself.
Should we get a sequel to the adventures of Jennifer Walters (and the ending may, in a way, foreshadow it), there will definitely be a need for a change in the formula.
