Mortal Kombat has been a series that doesn’t need to be introduced to anyone. Here we are talking about one of the few most famous representatives of the brawling genre and a game title that has made its mark in the history of the video game industry with large letters.
Through the years we have been receiving a whole host of full-fledged installments of the series, minor side parts and more and less successful projects.
At times it’s even difficult to believe that we’ve already had almost three decades for which the iconic brand has been in our company.
As this year marks the 30th birthday of Mortal Kombat, the team at NetherRealms Studio has created a special anniversary video for us. It’s a real nostalgia pill, and definitely worth checking out. Especially if you are a fan of the series.
The trailer shows a lot of perfectly familiar characters, loads of recognizable arenas, along with almost iconic duels.
However, the only thing the video itself lacks is length – because we have it for only 1.5 minutes. We would have loved a much more extensive video, which would have helped us remember our favorite parts even better.
