I will assume that you are all familiar with Evil Dead (or Ghost in the Woods). The cabin in the woods, the book Necronomicon, the monster demon, a chainsaw for a hand, and a double-barrel shotgun.
And Ash Williams in the lead role, absolutely ruddy played by Bruce Campbell. The movie franchise numbers three episodes (not counting the terrible remake), but a couple of years ago we were also blessed with Ash vs.
Evil Dead, for which I personally guffawed with glee. Never seen before, Ash was a loudmouth and brutality oozed from every frame.
Naturally, the game developers tried to cash in on this iconic series, but they didn’t always succeed. Nevertheless, the most recent addition to the large family, Evil Dead: The Game, is an hilarious multiplayer brawler.
Gather a few friends and try to destroy the evil Necronomicon together, or take on the role of a Kandarian demon and give the poor players a good salting! Don’t despair though, it’s possible to play solo too, although of course it’s not as much fun.
But it’ll serve as practice, as matchmaking works and so there are always souls to fight evil with you. But who’s the evil one? Figure it out for yourself and take it!
