Overwatch 2 Could Get Banned in Russia Over “LGBT Propaganda” and These Characters

There has always been rumors, but this time things are looking serious!

Overwatch 2 Could Get Banned in Russia Over “LGBT Propaganda” and These Characters

As Russia goes further with the controversy, this time a possible blocking of several different titles was announced, Including Overwatch.

All due to what has been dubbed “LGBT propaganda,” which Russia says may incite, and or encourage, sex change.

On Nov. 11, it proposed to block a number of different games that supposedly promote themes of changing one’s gender, or defining one’s orientation.

What games would be banned?

Translation from the Russian media identifies the list of games most popular here. Of course, there is more, but such basic ones:

Overwatch’s Blur and Soldier are worth mentioning here.  On one hand, rather funny, but on the other hand, it is hard not to get the feeling that the whole world in general would appreciate the opportunity to get rid of Russians from the servers.

It would be especially useful in CS:GO, which might introduce this kind of theme only to get banned in Russia and have completely clean hands.
