The PlayStation VR2 release is imminent. Previously, Sony had already reported that the goggles would be debuting on the market next year, and the company has now finally unveiled the exact release date of the PS VR2, scheduled for February 22, 2023.

That same day, a charging station developed for the PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers will be available for purchase.

On the spot, Sony revealed the price of the headset, which has been priced at $549.99 or €599.99. This is slightly more than the current cost of the PlayStation 5, which increased in price at the end of August this year to €549.99 for the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive version.

This means that we will be paying more for the virtual reality goggles than for the console itself. The package will come with the aforementioned goggles, PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones.

The pre-orders for the hardware are scheduled to start on November 15, and there will also be a PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle, which will include the game as well.

The price of the bundle is $599.99 or €649.99. Meanwhile, the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller Charging Station has been priced at $49.99 or €49.99.

The PlayStation VR2 Sense technology incorporates key features that deliver a unique gaming experience, including headset feedback, eyeball tracking, 3D audio, and adaptive triggers and feedback from PS VR2 Sense controllers.

Along with compatible games, they will capture gamers’ senses and deliver an incredibly deep sense of immersion.
