Game Awards 2022 is getting closer every day and, just like in previous years, 2022 edition will allow the community to have a voice and vote.
This system is becoming increasingly popular, since millions of people have already voted on this occasion.
Geoff Keighley, The Game Awards 2022 host and producer, tweeted that, in the first 7 days, voting for this edition broke records. This is because 35 million people have already voted in the awards ceremony.
This means that The Game Awards 2022 has more than double the number of votes that last year’s edition had in its first 7 days. Indeed, overall the last installment generated 23 million copies at 3 million votes.
In the first 7 days, voting for #TheGameAwards has hit a record-setting 35 million, up more than double from last year's first 7 days.
Last year, we had a TOTAL of 23 million across the entire 3 weeks of voting.

So it’ clear that the community truly wants its voice to be heard in the GOTY election. Does this lead to the community’s voice being heard more in future installments? We will see.
