“Scream 6” received its first official teaser. The Ghost face will attack again, although this time the film’s action will shift to New York. The premiere on the big screen is set for March 10, 2023.
In the one-minute trailer we see the main characters riding on a crowded subway. Some passengers are dressed in costumes, yet suddenly the terrifying Ghost face, the signature character of the popular horror series, appears from among them.
A teaser also revealed the film’s cast, thus confirming earlier reports that it will feature stars known from the previous installment simply titled “Scream,” which was released in early 2022.
They include Jenna Ortega, Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato and Melissa Barrera.
Recently, Barrera admitted that “Scream 6” aims to be the bloodiest installment of all the parts. One can also expect that an important character for the production would be Jenna Ortega, which plays the main role in the series “Wednesday”, which breaks records of popularity on the Netflix platform.
Curiously, Neve Campbell, who was associated with the brand since 1996 and played the role of Sidney Prescott, will not be starring in the horror film.
