We reported yesterday that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has already appeared on the PlayStation Store, and it is possible that we will soon see new materials and details related to the said title.
In the meantime, further interesting information on the continuation of the adventures of Man Spider-Man hit the web.
Indeed, it seems that one of the screenwriters revealed the release date of the upcoming production of Insomniac Games studio.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will reportedly debut in the fall of 2023
Jamie Mayer is an experienced film screenwriter with credits including 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate. However, she shares information on her website about both completed and current projects.
The latter category includes precisely the game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which, as reported on the “About Me” tab on the aforementioned site owned by Mayer, is set to debut in the fall of 2023.
Obviously, the sub-site has already been updated, and now we can learn that the Insomniac Games production is simply scheduled for release next year, with no indication of a more specific date.
But as we well know, on the Internet nothing dies, and screen shots showing the earlier information can be found, for example, on social network Twitter.
The quick reaction of Mayer and the removal of the indicated release date of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 might suggest that the continuation of the adventures of the Spider-Man will indeed go on sale only in the fall.
Indeed, it is worth mentioning that some time ago, one industry insider reported that the game’s release date would be at the end of June.

Naturally, Sony and developers Insomniac Games did not react to the whole situation in any way. Players who are waiting for new information about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, then, have nothing left to do but to be patient and wait for official announcements from the Japanese company as well as the developers themselves.
Lastly, we should remind you that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is being developed exclusively for PlayStation 5 consoles, and, as reported, the continuation is expected to present a much darker story than the first part.
