After offering us a glimpse of STALKER 2’s gameplay amid blood, bullets and radiation, the folks at GSC Game World plunge us back into the survival horror atmospheres of the Chornobyl Alienation Zone with images testifying to the graphical goodness of this open world FPS in development on Unreal Engine 5.
This next chapter in the STALKER saga promises to give us a survival experience full of twists and turns, intensive shootouts and dark secrets to discover as we penetrate the most dangerous areas of the Zone.
This new batch of shots in UE5 sauce is accompanied by an update to the official STALKER 2 website, featuring a synopsis that summarizes the Ukrainian software house’s creative vision.
It also promises to feed us “unique gameplay with FPS elements, an immersive simulation and lots of horror. You will play a key role in a nonlinear story to be experienced in a dark sci-fi, post-apocalyptic setting.”
Died in an anomaly. Shot by Loners. Found with a stone around his neck. Thrown off a cliff. Torn apart by dogs… Here, at the Zone, feel free to choose your destiny.
