Resident Evil 4 Remake: Albert Wesker Will Appear in the Game

The game will be released in March.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be launched in just over two months, and while Capcom is preparing to reveal more details about the remake this month, there is still a lot we don’t know. Some of those unknown details, though, may recently come to light through means that are not exactly official.

The IMDB has released the full cast list for the Resident Evil 4 remake, and, intriguingly, it seems to confirm the series’ enigmatic villain and fan-favorite character, Albert Wesker, who apparently will be voiced by Connor Fogarty. Fogarty also voiced Wesker in Dead by Daylight and last year’s Resident Evil collaboration.

Of course, Wesker was also featured in the original Resident Evil 4, and while he did not play a major role in the base game’s story, he was far more involved in the Separate Ways campaign, centered on Ada Wong.

Prior to the announcement of the remake, a few leaks suggested that the game would also include content from Separate Ways, though Capcom has not yet officially confirmed the news.

In the meantime, the previously mentioned cast list seems to reveal more details: apparently, Ashley Graham, the U.S. President’s daughter who acts as the game’s central character, is to be played by Nicole Tompkins, one who also played Jill Valentine in the remake of Resident Evil 3.

It was previously confirmed that Ashley’s new character model is based on the likeness of Dutch Instagram model Ella Freya.

Bear in mind that these details have not yet been officially confirmed, but as new details about the remake are likely to be revealed in the near future, hopefully it will not be long before we have official news about the casting, amongst other things.

In the meantime, Capcom recently confirmed that the remake won’t cut the controversial island section of the original. The Resident Evil 4 Remake is due out on March 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Resident Evil 4 is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It was released in 2005 for the PS2, and has since been released for several other platforms.

In the game, players control Leon S. Kennedy, a special agent who is sent on a mission to rescue the president’s daughter from a mysterious organization in rural Spain. The game features intense action and puzzle-solving gameplay, and has received critical acclaim for its immersive atmosphere and high-quality graphics.
