It is not the first time that there has been talk of a possible arrival of a family subscription plan for Xbox Game Pass in Europe and the United States, and now rumors are making a comeback after a reference to Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family appeared on the Xbox app in the United States.
To date Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family is available in Colombia and Ireland in a limited Beta version, however, it seems that the service may soon be extended to the United States as well.
A banner of Friends & Family appeared in the Xbox app for U.S. gamers, in all probability therefore the official launch in North America is not too far away, even if it is only a rumor for now.
Rumor has it that Microsoft will be holding a Developer Direct Showcase at the end of January, so who knows, maybe this could be the occasion to make the Xbox Family plan official for the U.S. and perhaps Europe.
Priced at $23, Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family in testing phase those with an Xbox Game Pass, the Xbox Live Gold or EA Play subscription can convert their remaining days into the Family Plan, following this scheme:
- 30 days Xbox Game Pass Ultimate into 18 days Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
- 30 days Xbox Game Pass into 12 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
- 30 days PC Game Pass over 12 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
- 30 days Xbox Live Gold in 12 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
- 30 days EA Play in 6 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family

We will just have to wait to learn more about the fate of the Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family plan. As we already mentioned, Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family is being advertised on the PC Xbox App in the US.
