Star Wars fans can breathe a sigh of relief as The Mandalorian creator, Jon Favreau, confirms that the adventures of Din Djarin and Baby Yoda will continue beyond the upcoming fourth season.
In an interview with Inside Total Film, Favreau expressed his love for the characters and their journey, and his excitement to tell more stories in their voices.
“I think the beauty of this show is that it’s the middle chapter of a much bigger story,” said Favreau. “And while the fate of these characters will be decided over time, I still wonder how they fit into a larger scale and wider context. It’s not like I planned the final that we’re aiming for and that I have in mind.”
In three days, the global phenomenon returns.

While the script for season 4 has already been fully written, fans are still waiting for the premiere of season 3, which is set to hit Disney+ on March 1. With each subsequent episode airing every week on Wednesday, the eight-episode season will conclude on April 19.
This news will come as a relief to fans who feared that The Mandalorian would follow in the footsteps of other popular shows like “Succession” and end after season 4.
However, Favreau’s comments indicate that there are many more stories to tell in the Star Wars universe, and fans can look forward to more adventures from their favorite bounty hunter and his adorable green sidekick.
