The Batman universe is expanding with a new spin-off series dedicated to the notorious villain, the Penguin. Recently, behind-the-scenes photos have leaked online, revealing the character’s fresh and stylish costume.
The role is once again portrayed by Colin Farrell, who has undergone a dramatic transformation and is barely recognizable in the outfit.
In the leaked photos, the Penguin can be seen wearing a sharp purple jacket, giving him a dapper, gangster-like appearance reminiscent of Al Capone.
The set also features a luxury car in a similar color scheme, adding to the character’s overall aesthetic. Furthermore, the footage includes Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone for the first time, hinting at the show’s interconnected storyline.

The series is set one week after the events of The Batman movie, in which Carmine Falcone meets his demise. The power vacuum left by his death attracts various contenders for the throne of Gotham’s criminal underworld, including the Penguin, who seizes the opportunity to take over the city. However, he soon realizes that he is not the only one who wants to inherit Falcone’s legacy.
Lauren LeFranc, who previously worked on popular shows like Agents of SHIELD and Hemlock Grove, has created The Penguin, while Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman, is producing the series.
The cast includes some of the most talented actors in Hollywood, such as Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Clancy Brown, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Deirdre O’Connell.
