Diablo 4 Beta Testing Receives Promised Fixes for Greater Stability and Shorter Queues

The First Phase of Testing Ends Tomorrow, Followed by Open Beta.

On Friday, the highly anticipated beta tests for Diablo 4 began for those who pre-ordered the game. However, reports of significant problems such as long wait times and poor optimization, as well as technical errors, quickly surfaced online.

Blizzard assured players that they were working on fixing these issues, and as promised, they have introduced updates to the Diablo 4 beta.

Just a few hours ago, an announcement was made on the official Blizzard forum by one of the community managers, revealing that server updates had been implemented.

These updates should significantly improve the stability of the Diablo 4 beta, as well as reduce the wait times in queues. The developers have also stated that they will address any other issues and glitches reported by players as testing continues.

It is important to note that the first phase of Diablo 4 testing will end tomorrow, March 20th. However, an open beta will begin on March 24th, allowing anyone interested to participate and provide feedback.

Hopefully, the upcoming tests will not present the same problems that arose over the weekend. Diablo 4 is set to release on June 6th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Prior to the start of the beta tests, Blizzard published a co-op gameplay trailer, which received mixed reviews from players eagerly anticipating the newest installment of Diablo.

Overall, Blizzard’s responsiveness to the issues faced by players during the initial beta tests is encouraging, and bodes well for the upcoming release of Diablo 4.

Fans of the franchise can look forward to a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience when the game finally launches in June.
