Armored Core fans, get ready to gear up as exciting news may be on the horizon. A few hundred megabytes of files, including the official key art of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, have been leaked on the Xbox Store through a partial pre-download.

The leaked image has caused a stir in the gaming community, with fans speculating about what this could mean for the long-awaited game.

The leaked key art features a giant mecha, hinting at the game’s intense battles between mechanized warriors. The image also showcases the game’s futuristic, post-apocalyptic setting, which is sure to draw in fans of the sci-fi genre.

The leak was first reported by Reddit user EliWats17, who discovered that it was possible to force the installation of the small piece of data through the Xbox app. This method was tried and tested by others, confirming that the partial download is indeed available.

To access the partial pre-download, simply open the Xbox app from your smartphone and search for Armored Core: Fires of Rubicon.

Once you open the title tab, you will be given the option to download the game to your Xbox Series X or S console. However, it should be noted that this is not the full game nor the actual preload but rather a placeholder application that weighs only 314.8 MB.

Starting the application from the Xbox dashboard reveals the official key art, followed by an error page asking users to insert the game disc.

While this may seem like a minor inconvenience, the timing of this discovery is significant. Just a few days ago, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was classified in South Korea, which suggests that an announcement of the game’s release date, currently set for a vague 2023, may be imminent.

In conclusion, Armored Core fans can now get a glimpse of the upcoming game’s official key art through the partial pre-download on the Xbox Store.

While this may not be the full game or actual preload, the leak has created excitement and anticipation for what the future holds for this beloved franchise. Keep your eyes peeled for any official news and updates regarding Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.
