Fans of The Last of Us Part I on PC can breathe a sigh of relief as Naughty Dog has announced a hotfix for the game will be released today. The patch will address the most necessary technical issues that occur on certain hardware configurations, following criticisms from players and an average rating of 45% on Steam.

While the hotfix will provide some improvements, a larger package of files with additional fixes is set to be released on Friday. Naughty Dog is encouraging players to update their NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel drivers, depending on their PC components, to ensure the best possible experience.

“Our team, as well as our partners at Iron Galaxy, continue to detect and analyze issues to ensure you get the best The Last of Us Part I experience,” the developers said in a tweet.

Despite the much-awaited release of Steam Deck, owners will have to wait a bit longer for a fully compatible version of The Last of Us Part I.

The Last of Us Part 1 To Be Cheaper on PC Than on PlayStation 5

In a recent tweet, Naughty Dog emphasized that their current priority is eliminating technical errors in the PC release before working on the Steam Deck version.

“We know that many of you would like to play The Last of Us Part I on Steam Deck. However, at the moment our priority is patches and fixes. As we continue to improve the PC edition, we will keep you updated on the status of the Steam Deck version,” the team added.

As players wait for the complete version of the game on Steam Deck, they can look forward to a better experience on PC with the upcoming patches and fixes.

With the dedication and commitment of Naughty Dog’s development team, fans of the game can expect a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience in the future.
