Despite being nearly a decade old, Fallout 4 is currently sitting among the top 20 most-played games on Steam, showcasing the enduring popularity of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG series. Prior to the TV show’s release, Fallout 4 had been averaging around 20,000 to 25,000 concurrent players on Steam. However, that number has now skyrocketed to over 75,000 players at its peak.

Fallout 4 and its Game of the Year edition are currently among the best-selling titles on the platform, while the Fallout Franchise Bundle, which includes the entire PC catalog, is sitting in the 10th spot.
The combination of deep discounts on the Fallout games and the renewed interest sparked by the new Amazon Prime TV series appears to be the driving force behind this resurgence. Bethesda has also made some key updates to improve the Fallout experience, including the addition of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 to the Nvidia GeForce NOW cloud gaming service this week.
