City Update VII: European Cities II transports simmers to six iconic locales across the continent, rendered in striking detail through high-resolution aerial imagery and advanced surface modeling.
From the skyscrapers of Stockholm and coastal charms of Nice to the architectural wonders of Barcelona, Madrid, Monaco, and Porto, this diverse array of European destinations awaits exploration in Microsoft’s comprehensive flight simulator.

In the Swedish capital of Stockholm, pilots can soar over the vibrant old town of Gamla Stan, the imposing Scandic Victoria Tower, and Stockholm City Hall’s iconic design. Meanwhile, the French Riviera beckons with vistas of Nice’s distinctive terra-cotta rooftops, historic cathedrals, and the deep blue Mediterranean beyond.
The independent city-state of Monaco offers a concentrated blend of medieval and modern architecture sandwiched between mountains and sea. Simmers can get up close with the Monte Carlo Casino, Prince’s Palace, and more tucked into less than a square mile.
Further west, the update lavishes loving detail on the coastal city of Porto, a former Roman trading hub whose old town core along the Douro River estuary was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
