All you Bear fans have probably been wondering – is the show almost over?! Well FX executive John Landgraf gave us some clues about what’s happening with seasons 3 and 4.
First off, the decision on ending the show comes down to the creator, Christopher Storer. Landgraf said it’s all about if Storer has more story to tell or not. Fans are really hoping he does cause The Bear is just so good!
There’s also been some rumors floating around. Reportedly, seasons 3 and 4 filmed back-to-back like they did with Atlanta before that show wrapped up. But then other reports said season 4’s scripts weren’t fully ready. So who knows?!
It makes sense they’d film seasons 3 and 4 together since the cast is super busy now. Jeremy Allen White is starring in a Bruce Springsteen movie. Ebon Moss-Bachrach has a role in Fantastic Four. And Ayo Edebiri is working on projects with A24.
Some actors think the end may be near too. Ebon said “we’re getting close.” But Liza Colón-Zayas wants it to keep going for at least 5 more years!
For now, all we can do is enjoy season 3 that just came out. And hopefully creator Christopher Storer has more of Carmy’s story left to tell beyond season 4. The Bear is just too good to say goodbye to yet! Fingers crossed for more seasons of this amazing show.
