Eco-friendly, with first-class amenities, and surrounded by breathtaking nature – those are the resorts that, in the opinion of international experts, are absolutely worth a visit. Be it on a cliff or among the skyscrapers of New York, in these luxury properties, guests will find particularly spacious rooms to relax in.
Among the biggest current trends in the hotel industry are sustainability and environmental protection. Those who love luxury hotels are increasingly looking for environmentally friendly accommodations. So Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo in the Mexican state of Jalisco is a new ultra-luxury hotel that is completely eco-friendly. Besides being sustainable, it also provides guests with a truly private vacation.
The hotel is nestled into a cliff on a private peninsula off Mexico’s Pacific coast and will open its doors to the guests in April. Because the Tamarindo resort is part of the Four Seasons hotel chain, real luxury awaits guests here. “The hotel will offer suites overlooking the cliffs, each with its own private pool, with four on-site restaurants, while guests can choose to swim on the pristine beaches or in the three large pools,” promises the hotel’s website.
In the meantime, the guests can also turn their stay at the hotel into an educational trip. The resort is set in a private ecological reserve of three thousand hectares. What it offers is a so-called Discovery Centre, where guests can learn about the local wildlife. The design of the hotel is also environmentally friendly and blends seamlessly with the surroundings – its 157 rooms are decorated with stone, wooden and local textiles.
By the way, a conversation or a walk with biologists is not the only program that the hotel offers its guests. “The stars are extremely bright over the resort. And our astronomers are happy to guide guests through the starry sky, to show the constellations of the planets and explain the importance of space for the native people of the place and how it has influenced their buildings and traditions,” the resort’s official website says.
