More Gameplay Footage From the Last of Us Remake Leaks Online

Fans are criticizing the extent of the changes.

Last of Us Remake

As more gameplay footage of the remake of the first The Last of Us emerges online, there is plenty of opinion on social media that the changes are not wide enough and that they are limited to the visuals.

The first leaks were already reported yesterday, as gameplay appeared on Reddit and in discussion forums. But today Nick Baker of XboxEra released another batch of footage, showcasing the weapon modification system and two shootouts.

This man warns not to be too impressed by the level of the setting. Its graphics are clearly “washed out” with colors, which can be a problem on the part of the recorder. This one remains anonymous, and it is currently not clear where the various recordings are coming from.

Naughty Dog has been diligently removing leaks from the web. Such an approach is no surprise, because the videos are already generating a lot of criticism.

There are no shortage of opinions that the only thing which has seen a significant change is the production price. A part of the players expected more extensive changes, in addition to refreshing the setting.

“I expected a lot more major modifications, like a redesign of the locations and a different placement of enemies to match the mechanics from The Last of Us 2,” wrote a certain “Another LED,” concluding the general voice of the community.

“I don’t have a problem with the lack of changes to the gameplay, but I wish they would tell us about it.” – added someone else.

Most of the negative feedback is probably related to the fact that the remake will cost 80 euros, which is said to be an inadequate amount in view of the changes presented.
