Rollerdrome is the next production utilizing the full range of capabilities of the DualSense controller. Sony has published footage that reveals what we can expect from the Roll7 studio‘s production.
Sony unveiled the first trailer for Rollerdrome last month, and subsequently the company confirmed that while the game would not debut in PS Plus Premium and Extra, but gamers can look forward to a special offer prepared for customers of the Japanese service.
The newest trailer for Roll7 not only allows you to check out some gameplay shots, but more importantly, the developers demonstrate how they took advantage of the PlayStation 5’s assets – as players feel various vibrations during the action, and as you shoot you’ll examine the capabilities of adaptive triggers. In addition, the authors also had 3D sound in mind.
UK-based Roll7 became famous in the industry by offering players OlliOlli, but the young series has been expanded with two new parts since 2013 (OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood, OlliOlli World), while the developers additionally developed Not a Hero and Laser League.
The footage has also confirmed that Rollerdrome is in fact a console timed exclusive, and on February 16, 2023, the title will be available for Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
