We’ve heard about Cyberpunk: Edgerunners several times in the past. It was announced in June that the series will premiere on Netflix in September. After that, we got a full-fledged trailer for the upcoming production based on the very popular game from CD PROJECT RED.
And now, as September arrives tomorrow, we got the exact premiere! On September 13, 2022 all ten episodes will land on Netflix!
To drum up some excitement, we’ve also received an additional trailer – but beware, this content is for mature audiences only, since in addition to masses of action, you’ll also find lots of violence, blood, as well as nudity. You can view the trailer below.
Somehow the creators also presented us with a poster showing one of its main characters – Lucy. She is a brilliant edgerunner who wants to break away from Night City and the past that is haunting her.
The series is produced by Studio Trigger and CD PROJECT RED. Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) is the director of the series. Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia, BNA: Brand New Animal) is the lead character designer and animation director.
This story created by CD PROJEKT RED for the format was adapted by Masahiko Otsuka (Star Wars: Visions ‘The Elder’) and Yoshiki Usa (GRIDMAN UNIVERSE series). Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill series) composed the original soundtrack.
