The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has named 35 entertainers to the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s class of 2026, unveiling the list at Ovation Hollywood on 2 July. Musicians led by Miley Cyrus—who told followers the honor “feels like a dream”—join soft-rock duo Air Supply and gospel pioneers The Clark Sisters in the recordings category.
Actor Timothée Chalamet headlines a motion-picture slate that also features Demi Moore, Emily Blunt, Rami Malek, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams and Stanley Tucci. Television honorees range from Buffy alum Sarah Michelle Gellar to broadcast duo Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, who will share a double ceremony. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and Mexican star Lucero broaden the roster’s sports-entertainment and international reach.
Posthumous stars were approved for director Tony Scott and effects pioneer Carlo Rambaldi, in keeping with the program’s rule that at least two years must pass after an honoree’s death. The independent selection committee—composed of past Walk of Famers in six categories—chose the class from hundreds of public submissions before forwarding its recommendations to the chamber board.
Each recipient, or a sponsor, must now pay the $85,000 fee that funds creation, installation and perpetual upkeep of the terrazzo-and-brass star. Inductees have two years to stage their ceremony or forfeit the spot, a deadline that has prompted occasional re-nominations in the past. Chamber president Steve Nissen said the lineup “reflects the global reach of popular culture,” noting selections from four continents and eleven languages.
The announcement arrives as officials estimate the 1.3-mile boulevard and its Vine Street spur now attract about 10 million visitors a year, rivalling Disneyland’s out-of-state foot traffic. Cyrus, who first walked the strip as a child with her father Billy Ray, added on Instagram that she hopes to sing “Flowers” when the city sets her ceremony date. Ceremonies are expected to begin early next year once recipients coordinate around film shoots, concert tours and, in O’Neal’s case, NBA broadcasting duties.
