We first found out about the work on the Avalanche studio’s game ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ in September 2020. Back then, the company had already announced that the title from the Harry Potter universe would be released within 21 months.
However, despite the assurances, the game’s debut was delayed until December 2022. Sadly, the past likes to repeat itself. Today, a message appeared on the game’s official Twitter account, informing that the release of Hogwarts Legacy has been pushed back again!
According to the tweet, the launch of Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed to February 01, 2023. According to the tweet, the title will be launched for PC and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles. This game will also appear in a Nintendo Switch version in the unspecified future.
The Avalanche studio has explained that the launch of Hogwarts Legacy has been postponed because of, standard in the industry lately, a need to polish the title. Most likely, this is the last such delay for this game
