Santa Monica Studio is getting ready for the big release of Kratos’ next adventure and new gameplay footage from God of War Ragnarok has just been unveiled. The gameplay is focused on combat and shows off new mechanics.
The editors of Game Informer have been given the opportunity to check out God of War Ragnarok and the journalists have already unveiled some hot new details.
However, now we can have a look at the “exclusive gameplay,” which although not particularly elaborate, showcases Kratos’ abilities.
God of War Ragnarok is again going to enable us to use a powerful axe (Leviathan), which during the action we will throw at enemies and then call to paw to attack rivals at the same time.
Additionally, we will once again test the Blades of Chaos – as we know, the weapon has been with Kratos since his early days, and during fights we will once again pick up enemies to then show them our skills.
In the presented video, we can check out Kratos’ new abilities – as we previously mentioned, now the hero will be given the ability to “imbue” weapons with fire or ice, and these special abilities are shown in the video.
