Subscribers to Amazon Prime Gaming are on their way to receive a new batch of free games in December 2022, and in anticipation of the official announcement is the inevitable leak to preview the possible content scheduled for next month.

The following are the titles referred to by user mydealz on the gg.deals website, a source which is considered quite reliable on the subject:

  • Quake
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Spinch
  • Doors: Paradox
  • Banners of Ruin

The first one hardly needs much introduction: Quake is a true classic, a truly historic game that contributed to the formation of the first-person shooter genre, and continued in the school formed by id Software.

Of course, it is a dated game, although it is still thoroughly enjoyable for those who like an old school experience.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was the first game by Josef Fares, who has recently become very famous mainly through It Takes Two.

He was already experimenting with the concept of cooperation in this title by letting us use two characters simultaneously, but which can also be used by a single player.

Spinch is a highly colorful and psychedelic 2D platformer that features truly crazy graphics, which recall some pixel art works in the style of Eboy (the artist, not the genre that later emerged).

Doors: Paradox is a sort of puzzle game set in various 3D dioramas to search for objects, joints and workings of the various mechanisms that are present in order to move on.

Last but not least, Banners of Ruin is an RPG deck builder featuring turn-based combat and marked by a strange fantasy setting with human-like animals.

At this point, we will be waiting for a possible confirmation from Amazon concerning the December games, meanwhile remembering the November 2022 free games for Amazon Prime Gaming.
