This is what we know at the moment.

As the leaves were falling from the trees in November 2022, and the chill of winter had started to set in, the gaming world was set ablaze with the release of God of War Ragnarok. This epic sequel to Kratos’ mythological adventures is available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, offering players an unparalleled gaming experience filled with breathtaking graphics and pulse-pounding action.

But what about the PC gamers among us, you may ask? Fear not, for the predecessor God of War, which was first released on the PlayStation 4 back in April 2018, was also released for the PC in January 2022. So, whether you’re battling gods on a console or a computer, the journey to Ragnarök will be just as thrilling and satisfying.

The wait is finally over and the time has come to experience the ultimate adventure with Kratos and his son Atreus as they embark on a journey to fulfill a promise to the gods and stop the end of the world.

The question remains, are you ready to wield the Leviathan Axe and take on the gods themselves? Because the fate of the world rests in your hands.

The eternal query echoes through the halls of Valhalla, with the faithful warriors of Kratos and Atreus eagerly awaiting an answer: Will the mighty God of War Ragnarok grace the halls of PC gamers with its presence?

The gods of PlayStation and developer Sony Santa Monica have yet to bestow upon us an official proclamation on the matter.

But fear not, brave warriors, for all signs point to a hopeful outcome. Sony’s strategy in recent times has been one of embracing the PC gaming realm, with a plethora of previously exclusive first-party titles making their way to the platform.

So, as the fates would have it, the chances of a PC port for the epic saga of Ragnarök are more promising than ever. Let us raise our Blades of Chaos in anticipation for the glorious day when we too can bask in the glory of the God of War.

As the gaming industry continues to evolve and expand, the question of when and if beloved franchises like God of War will make their way to the PC platform remains a hot topic.

While it may not be happening at the same breakneck pace as the latest console releases, there’s always hope that one day players will be able to experience the epic battles and breathtaking landscapes of Kratos and Atreus on their trusty PCs.

The truth is, Sony’s strategy for bringing their beloved titles to the PC is a bit of a mystery. But that doesn’t mean the possibility of a PC release for God of War Ragnarok is entirely out of the question.

In fact, with more and more Sony titles making their way to the PC, it’s not hard to imagine that one day, Kratos and Atreus will be slicing and dicing their way through the Norse gods on our computer screens.

But it’s not just about the when and if, it’s also about the how. Will the PC version of God of War Ragnarok come out faster than its predecessor? Or will players be waiting for an eternity? These are the questions that keep fans on the edge of their seats.

God of War Ragnarok’s Worst-Case Scenario Apparently Was Not Considered

The only thing we know for sure is that God of War Ragnarok is an epic masterpiece that deserves to be played on every platform possible.

In the end, whether it’s on the PlayStation or the PC, the thrilling adventure of Kratos and Atreus will be worth the wait. As we continue to wait and see what Sony’s plans are, one thing is certain: the anticipation for the next chapter of God of War is palpable and the excitement is building with every passing day.

The fates have yet to be sealed, dear adventurer. The official word is that the highly-anticipated God of War Ragnarok has not yet been confirmed for release on the PC.

But fear not, for the winds of change are always blowing. Who knows what the future holds for PlayStation’s PC strategy? Will we see the gods of war grace our computer screens? Only time will tell.

Rest assured, we will be sure to keep you informed of any developments. So keep your blades sharp and your ears open, for the Ragnarok may yet come to your PC.
