In light of his role in The Last of Us series, one might expect that he would have gone to the source material for preparation, but Offerman jokes that if he were to play The Last of Us, he would never be able to leave his basement, let alone go to his casting call. It’s a funny anecdote from one of the lead actors in the highly-anticipated series.
As for what’s next for The Last of Us franchise, Naughty Dog has confirmed that there will be more Uncharted and The Last of Us games.
The next chapter of The Last of Us will be premiering on Monday on HBO Max, and for those who haven’t played the first part, it is available on PlayStation 5 and will also have a PC version launching on March 28, 2023.
