Capcom, the developer of the widely popular video game Resident Evil 4 Remake, has issued a warning to all players about a critical bug that may prevent them from completing the game.

The bug has caused concern amongst the gaming community as it can affect progress and may even render the game unplayable.

The issue revolves around a particular item that players receive at the beginning of the 12th chapter. Normally, after a cutscene, a notification should appear on the screen, and the item should be saved to the inventory.

However, if players use the knife attack before the notification appears, there is a chance that the item will not be saved, halting progress in the game.

Capcom advises players to refrain from using the knife until they see the item drop information in the upper right corner of the screen to avoid encountering this problem.

The developer apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures players that a fix for this issue will be included in the next game update.

The bug affects all available platforms of the game, and Capcom has not disclosed when the patch will be released. However, the developer has reassured players that the fix will apply retroactively to players who have already experienced the problem, saving them from having to restart the game from the beginning.

It is worth noting that Resident Evil 4 Remake had an incredibly successful launch, selling over 3 million copies in just two days.

This critical bug is the first of its kind and has caused frustration amongst gamers, who have criticized the game with negative ratings.

However, the majority of the gaming community has acknowledged the game’s success and has high expectations for the upcoming fix.

Master the Resident Evil Timeline: “Get the full Resident Evil experience from start to finish. Check out our detailed guide on playing Resident Evil games in the right order and step into the world of survival horror.”

In conclusion, this bug in Resident Evil 4 Remake may be game-breaking, but with Capcom’s prompt attention and announcement of a fix, players can rest assured that progress will resume smoothly.

In the meantime, players are advised to proceed with caution and avoid using the knife until the item drop information is displayed to avoid encountering the issue.
