Not only has the game sold well, but it has also kept players engaged. In the first 72 hours of the game’s launch, players spent over 11 million hours playing Dead Island 2. This impressive number of hours spent playing the game is a testament to its popularity among gamers.

Additionally, the game has seen an astounding 28 million player deaths, which is twice the number of people living in Los Angeles. The number of zombie deaths is even higher, with over 1.1 billion zombies meeting their ultimate fate.
